Job Description
Full time Space Planning System Administrator position in the field of Facilities Management. This position reports to the Facility Information Management System (FIMS) Manager.
Successful candidate will be trained in space management and space planning using Microstation as the primary tool for communication with database.
Responsibilities include reporting/assisting the FIMS Manager in modifying drawings, creating plot sheets, plotting CAD drawings, printing reports on building occupancy of various departments. Candidate will interact directly with client.
Position provides the opportunity to grow into Management position.
Training available:
Training in Microstation CADD software will be provided to the successful candidate that meets the "Qualifications" (see next section)
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum two(2) years experience Space Planning.
- Professional
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- US citizenship (No H1 or Student Visa please)
The following skills are PLUS
If you meet the "Qualifications" (see section above) and have experience in one or more of the following then we would like to talk to you:
- Microstation CADD drafting Software
- Database: Understanding of tables and relationships
- Reporting tools (MS Access, Crystal Reports, or Info Maker)
- Visual Basic programming language
- AutoCAD CAD drafting software
- MS PowerPoint (Slideshow)
