Job Description
Full time Cadd Specialist position in the field of Facilities Management. This position reports to the Facility Information Management System (FIMS) Manager.
Successful candidate will be trained in Facilities Management functions including space management and space planning using Microstation as the primary tool for communication with database.
Responsibilities include reporting/assisting the FIMS Manager in modifying drawings, creating plot sheets, plotting CAD drawings, printing reports on building occupancy of various departments. Candidate will interact directly with client.
Position provides the opportunity to grow into Management position.
Training available:
Training in Facilities Management business process will be provided to the successful candidate that meets the "Qualifications" (see next section)
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum one(1) year experience with Microstation CAD drafting package in Architecture or Engineering related field.
- Professional
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- (AutoCad users willing to learn Microstation are welcome)

- Facilities Management (Space Planning)
- Database: Understanding of tables and relationships
- Reporting tools (MS Access, Crystal Reports, or Info Maker)
- Visual Basic programming language
- AutoCAD CAD drafting package
- MS PowerPoint (Slideshow)
